To activate your hosting hotel with Skymotor, make sure your domain name refers to Skymotor via one of the 4 options below.
You let Skymotor manage your domain name using one of the following options:
- You purchase a completely new domain name from Skymotor, either when ordering the hosting hotel or as a subsequent purchase here.
- You transfer your existing domain name to Skymotor, either when ordering the hosting hotel or as a subsequent transfer as explained here.
You manage your domain name yourself after ordering the hosting hotel using one of the following options:
- You change the domain name to use Skymotor's nameserver as explained here.
- At your 3rd party nameserver provider, you change the domain's DNS records to point to Skymotor's hosting hotel as described here: here
Depending on what changes you make to your domain, it may take up to 48 hours for all your changes to propagate to the entire Internet. Once your domain has spread, we recommend that you protect it with SSL/TLS as explained under Auto SSL
